Compressed Gauze is used for the management of moderate to severe injuries with significant blood loss. Made with high quality cotton, the compressed gauze is vacuum packed and very compact for optimal storage.
It extends up to 3.6m and can cover large wound areas. It is a must-have in any serious kit to provide effective compression, even when applied deep into injured tissue, to stop massive blood loss and thus save lives.
Woven gauze bandages have been around for thousands of years, and were used by the Egyptians. They are lightweight, highly malleable, adaptable, stable in a wide variety of environments and conditions, and inexpensive. These gauzes are not impregnated with a hemostatic agent.
