Description
The individual compression bandage from Hartmann® developed for the Swiss army is a very compact bandage with single packaging.
It is indicated for the care of serious bleeding injuries in contact, particularly in emergencies. It can be applied to one hand and has a handle that allows the injured limb to be inserted into it (to prevent it from spinning in the void).
The handle also serves as a bite strap for single-handed application on the upper arm in "self application". Thanks to its 2-slot pressure applicator, the dressing will be stable in rotation on the limb and stable in sliding towards the distal end of the limb.
It will allow pressure and counter pressure to be balanced around the entire circumference of the limb or body.
