INTRODUCTION
Modern slavery is a heinous crime and a morally reprehensible act that deprives a person of their freedom and dignity for the profit of another. It is a real issue affecting millions of people worldwide, including many in developed countries, who are held and exploited under various forms of slavery. Every business faces the risk of being involved in this crime through its own operations and supply chain.
At CELOPS SRL, we take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are fully committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain. We have taken concrete steps to combat modern slavery, as outlined in our statement. This statement sets out the actions we have taken to understand all potential risks of modern slavery related to our business and to implement measures to prevent slavery and human trafficking during the 2024/2025 financial year.
OUR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES AND SUPPLY CHAINS
CELOPS SRL is a provider of first aid and emergency preparedness solutions.
We identify and provide legal and ethical solutions to complex problems faced by private and corporate clients, as well as governments and NGOs. This may include support, training, and physical products.
Registered and based in Belgium and France, we operate and support clients worldwide.
We build trust and integrity with all our suppliers, based on mutually beneficial factors. Our supplier selection and onboarding process includes due diligence on the supplier’s reputation, compliance with law and ethics, adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, and references.
To date, we have not been made aware of any allegations of human trafficking or slavery against any of our suppliers. If such a situation were to arise, we would act immediately, conducting possible investigations before reporting allegations to the appropriate authorities
.
RISK ASSESSMENT
Annually, or whenever we engage a new supplier, client, or country of operation, we conduct a supply chain risk assessment considering:

The individual country risk profile based on the Global Slavery Index
-
The commercial services provided by suppliers
-
The presence of vulnerable demographic groups
-
News analysis and reports from labor and human rights advocacy groups
-
Activities carried out by our clients and our role in them
This assessment determines our response and the risk controls we implement.
